Back from Europe

I went on R&R and been backing in Europe for the last 3 weeks. It was a long trip and the memories are all a disorganize blur. I went with a group of friends from high school and visited London, Madrid, Rome, Berlin, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Paris and I also stayed in Dubai for a day on a layover.

I like London and Berlin the most. The cool weather and modern city architecture reminded of S.F. The hostels were a lot better than I expected. Tip to future backpackers in Europe: Stay in hostels that have a bar downstairs like "The Yellow" in Rome or "The Flying Pig" in Amsterdam. Fun places. I was surprised that none of the restaurants ever served tap water. They just served bottle water and its sparkling water if don't specify for still water. The underground in European cites were just awesome, I think I spent more time below ground in some cities than above it. I though S.F had a pretty good train/underground system but most European countries blow that away. Dubai was way to humid/hot so I don't like it too much.

Of all the places I been in the last 6 years, I still like America the most.
