Lately I don't need my alarm clock anymore. There's an attack every morning around 5am. This is what happens... I''m sleeping peacefully in my sleeping bag. For some reason the tent i'm in is right next to the alarm speakers. The military has this really cool technology call C-RAM which stands for Counter Rocket, Artillery Mortar. So when the bad guys launch sometime over the walls, the C-RAM detects and sounds the alarm giving us anywhere from 4-15 secs to run to a bunker, take cover or do whatever.
So again my tent is right next to the speakers. The alarm goes off and wakes me up. I don't have my glasses on, so I can't see anything. I'm not wearing shoes or socks, so no point in running outside. And I'm stuck in my sleeping bag cause it's all the way zipped up. So I do the next best thing I can think of. I roll over and wished there was a snooze button for this alarm. Alarm goes off. A few seconds latter I hear the impact hit. I go back to sleep and decide to get up 15 minutes later when the "all clear" alarm goes off. Call my co-workers to check in and decide there no point of sleeping in again, cause I'm waking up earlier from now on.
